How Do I Generate Translations on CAMB.ai?

Step-by-Step: Generate Translations in CAMB.ai

  1. Upload Your File
    Upload your video or audio to the CAMB.ai dashboard.

  2. Choose the Target Language
    Select the language you want to translate your content into.

  3. Click “Generate Translation”

  4. Wait for the Process to Complete
    You’ll get a notification when it’s done.

In this step, you can also modify your translation freely and move around the waveform, which is on the bottom of the screen.

Generate Translations

  • Click your target language (e.g., Hindi) and click confirm to generate translations.

  • For more languages, click 'Add' and select. You can choose 'Generate Translations' (subtitles only) or 'Generate Translations And Dub' (subtitles and voice).

  • After generating the translation, click 'Generate Voiceover'( Without Export).

  • Wait for the translations to be generated. They'll be showcased on the screen.

  • Once translations are generated, you'll get a confirmation window on the bottom right corner.

How Can I Review and Edit Translations in CAMB.ai?

After generating translations, you can review and edit them to match your preferences. CAMB.ai offers tools to modify the dialogue to suit your tone, style, or context.

How To Edit Translations?

Please Note: These changes cannot be undone.

✏️ Edit Translations: Click a dialogue to edit.

🩹 Merge Dialogues: Combine adjacent dialogues to improve lip-sync or speed.

❌ Delete Dialogue: Removes dialogue without affecting timestamps.

⌛ Edit Time Stamps: Adjust start or end time, but avoid overlapping dialogues.

➕ Add Dialogue: Insert a new dialogue with pre-set times.

🗣️ Change Speaker: Use the Speaker menu to assign a different speaker.

🎉 Once all your edits are done, you are ready to generate your dubbed outputs!

How To Download Your Translations?

Once you are done editing, you can download your translation before dubbing your output. You just have to go to the drop-down menu from the top right corner "Generate dubbed audio Tracks" and choose "Step 3: Download Output"

What can I download if the dubbing isn't done yet?

Since the dubbed audio isn't ready, you can’t download it yet.
However, you can download subtitles with timestamps in .srt or .txt format.
