After generating your dubbed output, you may find instances where the dialogues are faster than usual.

This issue takes place when the dubbed output is longer than the timestamp of the original dialogue. The system tries to utter a longer sentence in the same amount of time, so it ends up speeding up.

Here are the steps you can follow to solve them:

  1. Go the to Editor

  2. Find the dialogue that's causing the issue. You will see a clock beside the text indicating there is a Speedup, like the image below.

This means your dubbed output is longer than the timestamp of the original dialogue.

  3. To fix this you have 2 options:

    1. Be creative. If you need your dialogue to occupy the exact same time of the original dialogue (for example, for lip sync purposes), you can use the editor to edit your translations in order to make it shorter so it can occupy the length of the original dialogue's timestamp.

    2. If lip sync is not an issue and there are no adjacent dialogues, you can simply stretch the timestamp through the waveform until the speedup sign disappears.

  4. If you went for the first option, once you finish editing the translations, go ahead and click on the 3 dots on the right corner of the dialogue and click on "Re-generate". This will trigger the regeneration of the dubbed output for that specific dialogue. If the duration of the new dialogue coincides with that of the original one, the gap sign will disappear.
