How to Upload a Video

Before you can start dubbing you need to create an account.

A new account gives you a free trial with 2 minutes of usage, i.e. you can dub a 2 min video in 1 language. But we recommend starting with something short and easy to train yourself on the portal.

After the trial period of 14 days is over or after you have exhausted all free minutes, you need to buy more minutes to process more videos.

πŸ’‘File Upload Guidelines:

  • Supported Types: πŸ“ Only MP4, mov, MP3, Wav, and Flac file types are accepted.

  • Size:πŸš€ No restrictions on file size.

  • Duration: ⏱️ We recommend a video/audio file with a minimum of 90 seconds of spoken sections per speaker. For free trials, ensure a maximum duration of 2 minutes.

  • Speakers: πŸ”Š A minimum of 1 speaker is required. For optimal results, avoid overlapping speech among speakers.

Easily dub a video by following these easy steps:

1. Click on the β€œCreate New” button situated on the left-side collapsible panel and select "New Video".

2. Enter Title and Description - Give your Video a Title. This detail will help in identifying and understanding the purpose of your dubbing.

3. Choose a Source Language, Target Language(s) and Number of Speakers*.

*Source Language: The original language of your media file.

Target Language/s: The language(s) you want to translate or adapt your content into.

Number of Speakers: Indicate the number of speakers involved in your media file.

4. Upload Your Video - Here, you'll have the option to upload your media files. Please note, we support video files in .mp4 and .mov format and audio files in .mp3, .wav, and .flac format.

You can upload videos directly from your computer or you can copy a link to a YouTube video or to a video stored on Google Drive. In the last case, make sure the general access is set to "Anyone with the link".

5. Advanced Options - You can opt into the "Advanced Editor" option by clicking the arrow on the right and checking the box "I want to do advanced editing before generating my dubbed video".
This way, you can check the intermediate outputs for Transcription / Translated text accuracy, Lip-Sync, Dubbed Audio quality, etc.

- You can add a video Description to provide further details about your project.

- You may select a pre-existing Folder to organize this video into.

- You can also upload a subtitle file.

- You can upload a separate foreground and background audio for your video in a .flac format.

6. Dub Your Video

Once you have filled in all the necessary information, click on "Dub Project" to finalize the setup. You'll find this button on the bottom right corner of your screen.

While the video is uploading you will see this screen. It will show you the progress on the uploading and setting up processes.

🚨 Important: Please refrain from refreshing/closing the browser tab or disconnecting from the network during the dubbing process. This is vital to prevent any disruptions in uploading up your video to our servers.

Once the video is uploaded you can start working on it by clicking on "Go To Editor".

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations! You have uploaded your first video!
