Adding and managing subtitles for your video is easy and can be done through various options depending on your situation. Here's how you can handle subtitles in different scenarios:
1. I Already Have a Subtitle File for My Video in the Source Language π
If you already have an SRT subtitle file for your video in the original language, you can upload it directly to the platform:
Create Your Project π οΈ: Start by creating your project on the platform.
Upload Your SRT File β¬οΈ: During the creation process, go to the "Advanced Settings (optional)" dropdown section.
Find the Upload Box π₯: At the end of this section, you will see a box where you can upload your SRT file.
Once you've uploaded your subtitle file, it will be associated with your project.
However, if you don't have subtitles for your video, either in the original language or target languages, donβt worry β you can generate them directly on our platform. π
2. I Donβt Have Subtitles for My Video in the Source Language β
If you donβt have subtitles for your original video, the platform can help you generate them from the transcript. Follow these steps:
Check the Transcription βοΈ: After uploading your video, check the transcription that has been automatically generated by the platform.
Download the Transcript β¬οΈ: Once you're satisfied with the transcript, click the "Generate Translations" button in the top-right corner of your screen.
Get the SRT or VTT File π: A drop-down menu will appear. Scroll down to "Step 3: Download Outputs" and click on "Download Outputs". This will allow you to download the subtitle file for the original language of your video (.srt, .vtt or .txt).
You can then use this file for your project.
3. I Want to Create the Translated Subtitles for My Video π
Once you have generated translations and made any necessary edits, you can easily download the subtitles for the target language(s) before generating your voiceover. Here's how:
Generate Translations π: After generating your translations and making any necessary adjustments, go to the top-right corner of your screen and click the "Generate Dubbed Audio" button.
Download Translated Subtitles β¬οΈ: A dropdown menu will appear. Scroll down to "Step 3: Download Outputs" and click on "Download Outputs".
This will allow you to download the subtitles in your selected target language(s) for your video. π¬
With these simple steps, you can easily upload, generate, and download subtitles for both the original and translated languages of your video. Happy editing! π
