Re-Transcribing a Segment
Step 1: Select the Transcript Segment
Click the transcript block you want to update.
The selected segment will become highlighted.
Step 2: Open Segment Actions
After selecting the segment:
Locate the floating action toolbar near the waveform or transcript block.
Click the re-transcribe icon.
Step 3: Choose “Re-Transcribe”
Click Re-Transcribe.
The platform will process the selected audio again using speech recognition.
The system may:
Detect clearer wording
Improve punctuation
Correct speaker interpretation
Adjust timing alignment
Example:
Before re-transcribe:
Narrator: 00:00:14.920→00:00:18.900
தன் தொப்பிகளை வித்து முடிச்சதுக்கு அப்புறம் அவர் ரொம்ப
After re-transcribe:
Narrator: 00:00:14.920→00:00:18.900
தன் தொப்பிகளை வித்து முடிச்சதுக்கு அப்புறம் அவர் ரொம்ப சோர்ந்து போயிட்டாரா.
The above-mentioned dialogue is incomplete, so instead of adding the missing words, we can re-transcribe the particular dialogue. I will attach the GIF for your reference.
