What does it means?
Spot translation refers to the instantaneous or immediate translation of a word, phrase, sentence, or short text without much delay.
While reviewing the translation, if you find it incorrect, not as expected, or if there are speed-ups or gaps, you can opt for a spot retranslation by selecting one or more dialogues.
Click on Retranslate in the toolbar; it will display two options.
Steps to Retranslate:
Optimize Duration:
Select this option to automatically lengthen or shorten the dialogue to match the timing of the original.
Rephrase: Select this option to reword the dialogue while preserving its original meaning, resulting in a fresher translation.
Click the "Retranslate" button on the toolbar to start the process.
Select "Optimize Duration" and check the "Manual Playback Length" box to optimize the dialogue.
Then, set a percentage range (1–200%) and select "Longer" or "Shorter".
Finally, click "Retranslate" again. The system will optimize the dialogue based on your input.
Once retranslation is complete, a confirmation message will appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
You can also rephrase the dialogue by selecting "Rephrase" and then clicking "Retranslate". This will completely reword the dialogue.
