✅ What Is a Speaker in CAMB.ai?
A speaker is the voice used in your project for dubbing or narration. Each speaker has a name, tone, and voice style.
You can use:
A voice taken from your original video
A stock or custom voice from your library
➕🗣️ How to Add a New Speaker in CAMB.ai?
Step 1: Open Speaker Settings
Go to your CAMB.ai project
Click Speaker Settings at the top-right corner
Step 2: Click Add New Speaker
Fill out the speaker profile:
Name
Age
Gender
Formality (formal or casual tone)
Step 3: Choose the Voice Source
Voice from video: Clone from your video’s audio
Voice reference: Choose a stock or custom voice
🔁🗣️How to Change a Speaker for a Dialogue?
Open your project and go to Dialogue Editor
Find the dialogue line you want to change
Click the speaker box
Choose a different speaker from the list
❌🗣️ How to Remove or Delete a Speaker in CAMB.ai?
A. Remove the Speaker from Dialogues First
Check if the speaker is used in any dialogue
Reassign those dialogues to a different speaker using the dropdown
B. Delete the Speaker Profile
Go to Speaker Settings
Find the speaker you want to delete
Click the trash bin icon to delete
⚠️ You can only delete a speaker if it is not used in any dialogue.
✅ What Happens After You Add a Speaker?
The new speaker will appear in your project wherever you assign them.
If you chose "Voice from video", make sure this person speaks in the video. CAMB.ai will clone their voice from that.
If you chose a Voice Reference, their selected or cloned voice will be used right away.
